New Senior Housing Dedicated

Archbishop Charles Chaput, O.F.M. Cap. dedicated Nativity B.V.M. Place, new senior housing in the Port Richmond neighborhood of Philadelphia on November 6, 2015.  Nativity B.V.M. Place offers 63 one-bedroom apartments for income eligible seniors, age 62 and older. In addition, community members came to see the transformation of the building, which served for almost a century as the elementary school for Nativity B.V.M. Parish.

This development is funded primarily through HUD’s Section 202 Program for the Elderly.
